Game Crush has two groups, the play dates and players. Players can log on and find play dates to play a number of video games to play with for a price. Right now there are only 4 Xbox 360 games and a number of classic online flash games to play. The flash games allow the player to video chat with the play date as well. The website intends to allow PS3, Wii and even WoW dates along with more than just the four starting Xbox games. Players pay by the minute for the dates and afterward can leave tips or favorite the play date.
As stated the site is in it's Beta stages, the site at times feels clunky and the search function isn't as complete as some might like. The game choice is sparse, and I'd even go as far as to say outdated, I don't know many people who still play GTA4 online.
I've signed up and try the Beta as a play date so feel free to find me, EpicRareFemale and hit me up for a game or two. My experience as a play date has been lacking. I find that many of the players are looking for this site to be an adult website with playing video games as the minor. The players I have spoken to just wanted to chat and not actually play games. Oh, well. I love the idea of being paid to play video games, I just hope they work out the bugs and allow more fun.
I've also joined a guild on WoW with a bunch of the other play dates. We play on the server Trollbane and are in the guild GameCrush, free publicity, right?
If you've tried out GameCrush, feel free to tell me your thoughts. As a player or a play date. I lurk the forums on the site occasionally too and I feel like there are a lot of different opinions of the site so far.
